Ye Olde Folkz Trio live at The Bean Cup

This Saturday, November 29, from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m.

We'll be singing our hearts out, if we can just remember where we put the car keys.

It's an evening of acoustic music with two of my favorite people. Eli Beth, Greg O'Haver and I will be sharing songs and stories in the round at one of south Indy's treasures. You'll find us at The Bean Cup, 8908 St. Peter St. in Indianapolis. This fine venue is located just off County Line Road across from Greenwood Park Mall, next door to the Arthur Murray Dance Studio.

This Friday at Beanzie's

This past weekend was a great way to get back into the swing of performing. The show at Bookmama's was intensely fun. Several friends stopped by, and we had a blast passing the guitar around, sharing songs and singing harmonies.

I had such a good time that I'll be back at the store on Saturday morning, December 5. Browse the shelves, find the perfect Christmas gift, and enjoy some acoustic music while you shop!

This Friday, I'll be back at Beanzie's Gourmet Coffee in Avon. If you're out on the west side, stop in this great cafe. Beanzie's features some great live music to go with their fine food and beverage menu, and you can bring the whole family. The music starts at 6:30.

If you can't make it out to Avon, Cliff Snyder will be hosting another session of the Indianapolis Songwriters Cafe at Boulevard Place Cafe this Friday at 7:00.

On Saturday, November 29, Ye Olde Folkz Trio is getting back together at The Bean Cup on the south side of Indy. I'll be back with Eli Beth and Greg O'Haver, sharing songs and stories in the round. We'll get started at 7:00, so take a break from shopping or just relax after the Thanksgiving holiday with delicious coffee and good music.

Thanks again for your support, and please come out to support these fine venues that do a lot to promote local music!

Blessings,
Dean

Back in Action This Weekend

I am grateful to each of you that remembered me in your prayers and who checked in to see how I was doing during and after my recent hospital stay. I am very much on the mend now. Also, to those of you who went out to the Bread Ladies Saturday before last only to find that I wasn't there, I am sorry you found an empty stage. Your faithful support means so much. Thanks!

Having to recover also meant having to back out of the show last Friday in Terre Haute with Patchwork. From what Rick and Holly told me, a great time was had by all. It always is when Patchwork's around.

However, I'm climbing back up on the stool this weekend when I make my first appearance at Bookmama's in Irvington. This is a delightful neighborhood bookstore, located on Johnson Ave., right across the street from Lazy Daze Coffeehouse. I'll be playing from 1:30 until 3:30, and of course, I'll have CDs available for anyone who'd like to get an early start on Christmas shopping! Come on out and browse the many interesting shelves at Bookmama's.
